DWebPro

This is a tool that lets you develop dynamic websites that can be distributed on CD/DVD.

DWebPro is an application for distributing dynamical web sites on CD/DVD or as install packages. It includes a web server, the primary web server, which includes support for CGI/ISAPI (PHP, Perl, Python, etc.). Another webserver, ASPClassic, is also included that provides support for ASP 3.0 Classic. There are some limitations, however, details are provided by the publisher. A third web server dwebdotnet includes support for ASP.Net. A SMTP compatible mail server and support for adding databases are included too. These databases include MySQL, SQLite, Ms Access, HSQLDB, Firebird (also embedded), PostgreSQL, MSDE 2000, SQL Server 2005, etc. A crontab management system, an interface for the JSP/Servlet using Tomcat, an interface for the Zope application server and an interface for the Railo CFML compiler are also included in the code package.

DWebPro support for PHP has some extensions for interpreting encrypted scripts. The development tool includes a PHP encoding tool from IonCube Ltd. If you choose to use Zend encoder, that’s possible too. If you prefer AES encoding an encoder is available for that too. Server side language support is extensive. MDA C, Flash player, Windows installer and Acrobat reader are additional tool that are available. API details, command line parameters, interactive install workflow details in the document provided help this package become an extensive ecosystem for the site developments. Browser is also made available so that developed pages could be tested easily. The re-brander package installed will help the sites generated to be rebranded quickly and easily. Whenever there is a need for sites that need to work off-line, this is a great to tool to develop them including dynamic ones.
